Cork Wedding Photographer
I am a Cork wedding photographer that specialises in documentary wedding photography and documentary portrait photography. Based in Cork city , I travel extensively throughout Ireland to capture your wedding day.
Let me first congratulate you on making the decision to get married. Choosing the right wedding photographer can be a daunting experience but I have tried to outline what I offer in the following page. I offer a candid, relaxed and natural approach to capture all those moments on your wedding day.
You can see some of my previous weddings here. Click image to explore each one.
How to expect?
My approach to wedding photography is set heavily in a documentary style. On your wedding day I will turn up on location and start taking wedding photographs of what is going rather than start getting you to pose. I try to limit the involvement I have with with the people I photograph. This produces results that are very natural, unscripted and candid. Primarily, a Cork wedding photographer, I do cover all of Ireland. Please contact me for availability.
Not a fan of posing?
This may suit you if you are not a fan of posing and might be shy around the camera. Personally, I prefer to be the one taking the photographs. I try to work in the background as much as possible and after a while you won’t even notice I am there. This approach to wedding photography will give you the time to savour the day and spend as much time with your family and friends.
Do I do any formal photographs?
That is not to say I we won’t be doing any posed wedding photographs. Wedding group shots are an important part of the day and those will be done after the ceremony. With a bit of organisation before the day and with a little help from the best man and bridesmaid I would hope to have them done in 15-20 minutes.
Bride and Groom photoshoot?
Included in every wedding photography package is a photoshoot with just the bride and groom. This usually takes 20-30 minutes. This will preferably be outside but will of course be weather dependant.
The location can be of your choosing. To gain access to public parks and open spaces public liability insurance is needed. My insurance will cover this when applying for permits.
Must we pose hard for the bridal shoot?
During wedding photo shoots I will offer gentle guidance rather than a list of instructions to follow. I want you to be relaxed and enjoying yourself. We decide on a location before the wedding day away from the hustle and bustle of the main wedding.
My goal is to try and take photographs of your wedding day that visually sum up the story of your special day. Each wedding day is unique in so many ways and I want to give you a set of wedding photographs that reflect this.
Here is a link to my wedding portfolio, Take the time to look over previously wedding photography galleries. While you won’t get the same images as previous clients, what you will get is the same approach. It’s by no means extensive and if you want to see an entire wedding galley please contact me.
