Frequently Asked Questions
Do we need to give you a set list of photographs?
Please no set lists. A set list of photographs would be counter productive to how I take pictures on the day. In order to photograph in a candid manner, the day needs to flow as natural as possible and a set list would interupt that flow. There will of course be a list for the family formals to sepeed up that process.
Please mention if there is something special on the day that you would like me to pay particular attention to. I cannot guarantee any shot on the day but will make every effort to include it.
Do you have a package for micro weddings?
Yes I havge a special package for weddings under 50 guests. My intimate documentary style would also complement such an occasion. Please contact to find out more.
Do you have back up equipment?
Yes. I have a back up camera body and back up lenses and plenty of batteries on the day. My camera bodies also allow me to shoot with two memory cards. This means all images are backed up right when that are taken.
Do you do family formals?
Of course. Family formals are a big part of every wedding day. With everyone together in one location how can you not take a photograph to mark such an occassion.
With a litle bit of planning before hand and with a little help on the day (normally the grooms man) we can have them done in about 15-20 minutes.
How do we book you?
Please get in touch to first see if your date is available. All my contact details are available on the contact page on my website. If your date is available you can secure it by first signing the contract and paying the deposit of €400.
How much time for bride and groom portraits?
Portraits of the bride and groom are normally done in about 20-30 minutes. The location can be decided on before the day and will of course be weather dependant. The closer the location is to the venue the quicker it will take so you can head back and mingle with your guests.
If you would like to go climbing a mountain or heading out to the middle of the ocean, it will of course take longer but will be worth the extra time and effort.
When will I get my photographs?
Images will usually be delivered 8-12 weeks after the occasion. All images are individually and professionally edited and great care, time and attention is given to each one. If you have additional editing requirements outside of what is delivered, this is charged at an hourly rate.
How are my images delivered?
Digital images are delivered in a private, password protected online gallery that can be viewed in the comfort of your own home. It can of course be shared with family and friends if you give them the password.
In the gallery you will have the option to download your images. If you would like your images stored on a physical device you have the option of getting them on a USB drive thast is presented in a personalised storage box.
There is also the option of getting your photographs printed. There are different photo albums available and also a selection of different types of wall prints.
Do you also shoot video?
No, I only cover the photography side of things.
Where are you based?
I am based in Lismore, Co Waterford and will travel troughtout Ireland.
Are there travel costs?
If I have to travel more than 50km there will be a travel cost. All costs shall be stated before any contract is singed so there will be no hidden fees.
