Hi, I'm Michael, the photographer behind Advocate Photography.
Based in Cork, I specialise in documentary wedding photography, capturing weddings in a way that feels natural, authentic and unobtrusive.
Photography has always been about storytelling for me. Weddings are some of the most meaningful stories I have the privilege to witness—bringing together the people who matter most to celebrate a moment that will never happen in quite the same way again.
When I'm not photographing weddings, you'll usually find me at home with a coffee in hand, editing photographs with my cat curled up nearby.
My Approach
I believe the best wedding photographs happen when people are free to enjoy themselves.
Rather than spending hours posing, I want you to be present with your family and friends while I quietly document the moments as they unfold.
